Caption: Captain John Fitzgerald de Clare Seymour Redmayne (1860-1946) was a retired army captain and innkeeper. After the First World War he took over the Dalmally Hotel/Inn and ran it until the late 1930s. His brother was Sir Richard Augustine Studdert Redmayne KCB MICE MIMM FGS (1865-1955), an inspector of mines (and great-grandfather to the actor Eddie Redmayne).
