Lieutenant John Hogg, MC, MM was born in 1887. He served in the Cameron Highlanders 1907 to 1920 and had the rare distinction of winning the Military Medal as a sergeant in 1916 and the Military Cross as an officer in 1919. A very full biography of him is held in the archives of the Highlanders' Museum at Fort George. Submitted by Catherine Cowing.
